15 Pounds of Frozen Italian Sausage Crashes Onto Family’s Roof

A family in Deerfield Beach, Florida were awakened Saturday morning by a loud, mysterious thud on their roof. "It was like thunder, and it awakened me out of a sleep," Travis Adair said.

Adair and his family found two packages of frozen Italian sausage on their side yard and decided to check the roof for more. Up there they found another three packages bringing the total to 15 pounds of sausage.

The packages were in bags marked for a land-clearing company out of Alabama. Adair's son contacted them and they had no idea what he was talking about.

The family has several theories as to how the sausage landed on their roof, but so far the whole thing is a mystery.
