You Know …. The “Q’ Awards …. !!

Ever heard of the Q awards ...?   They are next week, and they're a pretty big deal every year in the UK .. It's an annual awards show held in London, which is a real "treat" to say the least, and they've delivered some good laughs over the last dozen or so years ...

Here's a list of the winners of the "Best Band/Act on the Planet" awards recently... "Muse" (twice), "Vampire Weekend", "Coldplay" ( 3 times),  "Radiohead" (3 times), "Oasis", "The Killers", "Travis", "Blur", and "The Red Hot Chili Peppers" ... now, I'm not saying that a few of these aren't semi-or-respectable acts ...  but "Best on the Planet"?

The best award that was never given was for Elton John  RIPPING  Madonna a new one for lip-synching when she was nominated for best Live Act about 10 years ago!!
