This morning we were talking about the Sochi Olympics being over budget by more than $30 billion.  After the games conclude and the all the fanfare fades away, what will become of the venues and infrastructure?  What kind of return on investment will the city see?  If history is any indication...the answer is NONE.

While watching the coverage of the opening ceremony, everything had a pristine feel to it.  Everything was state of the art, brand new and--albeit for one non-morphing snowflake--perfect.  In just a few short months and years, that will all dissolve into a distant memory.  Here's a look at what's become of some past Olympic host cities.
