Saw an article that peaked my interest.  They talked about booze (hobby #1) and being cheap (hobby #2).

Apparently you have to get a name brand (good) charcoal filter water pitcher and run vodka through it about 5 times and it will burn less, thus tasting more like Grey Goose vodka.

I wonder what an actual critic would say about this technique? In the video below, an expert rates cheap/bottom shelf vodka.  (spoiler alert: Popov wins)
