The Best Ice Cream By State

The folks over at Business Insider took to Foursquare to figure out which are considered the best places to get ice cream. Check out the list of the best place for ice cream in every state.

Business Insider has the full list of states. The number ones for Iowa and Illinois are below, but you probably already know what they are.

IOWA: Whitey's Ice Cream has multiple locations in Iowa, but the Davenport branch is a voted favorite, especially when it comes to ice cream shakes. People go nuts for the peanut butter shake — with or without Oreos.

ILLINOIS: Jarling's opened in Champaign in 1983 as a full-service soda fountain and desserts destination. The flavors are traditional, and the shop also specializes in waffles (with or without ice cream).
