Sol; Around The World In 50 Beers

Is it possible for a beer to actually make you thirsty?  This salty number from my South-of-the-border friends does just that.

Just the facts:

Bottle temp at opening: 38 degrees.

Drinking temp: 38 degrees.

Nose: Like you spent a day detassling corn in the hot sun..

Taste: Starts out light, then a taste the way skunk beer smells.  Leaves a dry spot on the tongue.

If this were Summer, a 3 spot might have appeared, but with the leaves changing, this Summery beer from Mexico felt out of place.  Nobody sits around talking about Sol beer--if it's there, you drink it.  When you're done drinking it, you are thirsty for another beer.  But not another Sol, unfortunately.
