April 16th brings the 9th annual Record Store Day, where independent record stores around the world get access to exclusive limited edition music from musical superstars to complete unknowns.

Metallica is this years "ambassadors" who will be releasing Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, Metallica!, a CD of their 2003 Bataclan performance.

This year will also see the release of Bob Dylan's 7" EP "Melancholy Mood" that was only available in Japan (why does Japan get all the good records?).  3 David Bowie vinyls albums will be released, including a picture disc of The Man Who Sold The World.

Johnny Cash and many more have releases.  So, get out to your local records store, I would name them here...but I know I'd forget one and feel like a jerk, so I'm counting on you to know how to google.
