I couldn't imagine the stress involved of having a child who's had 3 open heart surgeries before the age of four.  Hopefully it's something you won't have to find out about either, but sadly, that is the reality for Chris and Meghan Kohn.

Here is an update on his condition from The Dispatch/Argus writer John Marx -

Will and his parents, Chris and Meghan, just got back from the University of Michigan, where doctors ran a series of tests on Will's half-working heart.
The Kohn's received devastating news. Doctors told them Will's heart function has taken a huge step back, that there is nothing that can be done to update and maintain his current condition and Will has been placed on a transplant list.
The Kohns are numb at the news, scared of the future, but are hoping that modern medicine and a strong faith will see their son through this difficult time.

If you would like to find out more about little Will Kohn read this story.

That's a bag tournament this Sunday, May 18th, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Rock Island's Stern Center.  If your schedule allows, please share the day with Will and his family.
