Paul Shaffer On The Show Today!

His resume reads like a menu at McDonalds...it has EVERYTHING.

From his early days as the session man for SNL, to his music direction of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony and the Olympics (Atlanta), Paul Shaffer has touched everyone in the music business.  He has been the band director of the World's Most Dangerous Band with Letterman for 30 years, and will retire with Dave next year.  He also provides 97X Afternoon Driver Guy Perry with Paul Shaffer's Day in Rock--a treasure trove of nuggets as only he can do it.

So I'm excited to have this guy on the show, if only for a few minutes!  This video is one of my favorite moments ever from Letterman...Paul Shaffer, Behind the music.
