Nobody Seriously Injured After Crazy Accident in Scott County

Here's a reminder to always wear your seat belt! One vehicle rolled onto it's roof and the other was completely ripped in have, luckily everybody walked away without serious injury.

Le Claire Police Sergeant Mike Gonzales told KWQC, "No doubt the seat belts and air bags saved our lives. No doubt at all that’s what saved all of us. I’ve seen some [crashes] this bad in my career, but never one this bad in which everyone walks away."

Gonzales left the scene with a sore thumb and his wife, Amy, only had some bruising from her seat belt. The driver of the Honda Accord was booked in to the Scott County Jail for his second OWI.
