The long-waited fight between two Quad City based fighting legends has been postponed a couple of times already due to the pandemic, but they're saying it's now time to go for it.

The fight will be billed as "Clash of Legends", featuring two-time Middleweight Boxing World Champion Michael Nunn with a record of 58-4 (if you don't count the Pinewood Derby), facing off against UFC Hall of Fame inductee and UFC Welterweight Champion Pat Miletich.

The two will fight at the Mississippi Valley Fair Grounds on July 18th in an temporary outdoor setting to be put together in the southwest corner's parking lot. The fight has been a big topic of conversation in the community since the announcement in January at a Caged Aggression MMA event.

According to Promoter Monte Cox, the venue will provide a capacity of around 12,000. If Iowa is still under their 50% capacity restrictions, the venue will be cut back to around 6,000.

The fight will be a kick-boxing match, being Nunn was a boxer and Miletich has a background in MMA.

Both fighters said they've been training through the pandemic.
