Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ Extra; Around The World In 50 Beers

There's a little Califoria in every bottle of Lagunitas' Limited Release A Little Sumpin' Extra!

My Nephew ordered one of these the other night, so I was excited to give it a try when it came up in the beer fridge. You how these young hipsters are--always on the leading edge of the curve on 'cool.'

Just the facts:

Bottle temp at opening: 37 degrees.

Drinking temp: 39 degrees

Nose: Sharp Hops. A little sweet.

Taste: Bold. Flowery ripe hops.

Rating: 5 bottles out of 6

So while I felt cool knocking it back, it was the added pollen or flower hint that made this beer stand out amongst other ales.  Drink two of these, ice cold, before dinner, and you won't care what's for dessert!
