Labrador Retriever Tops List of Popular Dog Breeds for 25th Year in a Row

The American Kennel Club just released its list of the most popular dogs in the country. And for the 25th year in a row, the most popular breed is Labrador retriever.

Here are the breeds that made the Top Five:

The AKC ranks 184 breeds overall, even though the top of the list is kind of generic, things get kind of obscure at the bottom.

The five least popular breeds are:

1. English Foxhounds
2. Harriers
3. Norwegian Lundehunds
4. American Foxhounds
5. Otterhounds
