Over the last few years, drive-in theaters have become very popular again. The first one I ever visited was 61 Drive In Theater just South of Maquoketa. It was a fantastic experience, and I have been back multiple times, but now this drive-In needs our help!

How You Can Help

The iconic train needs some help over the winter. This little guy helps give kids a fun ride around the theater every weekend. I'm sure if you've been to the theater you've seen it before.

Some more information about the help they need is as follows:

Our beloved train needs some love over the winter. We are hoping to connect with someone on this post who can help us. The locomotive needs a redesign of the frame and engine work?! Who knows someone, who knows someone, who could do this?!? 🚂 ⭐️ ❤️ Message us if you’re able to help and we can share some more details!!

Essential Winter Emergency Kit Items

Winter season in the Quad Cities means cold temperatures, heavy snow, and slick roads. Hopefully, you won't ever need to tap into your winter emergency kit, but it's better to have one in your car than to be unprepared. Make sure you have these essential items in your car before winter arrives in the Quad Cities.

Iowa Stingray Home

This home is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It holds two tanks, both around 300 gallons each. They both contain different types of stingrays. As for right now, this project is just for fun, though the owners do hope to someday breed these rays.

It's been about a 6-month process getting all the supplies, tanks, and stingrays.
