Iowa Motorist Leads Troopers On High Speed Chase Because It Was Part Of His Bucket List
Iowa State Patrol pulled over a 46-year-old Des Moines resident after he refused to halt before 7:30 AM Thursday morning.
They tried stopping the motorist on Interstate 80 and he lead them on 10-15 minute chase. It ended shortly after he pulled off the interstate and he was arrested.
That's when he told the troopers that it was on his bucket list to get into a high speed chase. State Patrol Sgt. Scott Bright says that he’d never heard such an excuse in his 28-year-long career.
