Hundreds of Mites Infest Woman’s Eyelashes Thanks to Dirty Pillowcase

A woman named Xu in Hubei, China went to a doctor after experiencing red, itchy eyes for more than two years. It was found that she had at least ten mites living on each of her eyelashes. That's over 100 for both of her eyes.
She then came clean, more or less, and admitted that her pillowcase hasn't been washed since 2012. The mites grow better on center areas of the body where bacteria is present in a higher amount.
