Happy B-Day Pete

On this date in 1945, one of the most dynamic, amazing, talented, controversial, rock icons was born ... Peter Dennis Blandford Townshend.  Singer, Guitarist, Composer...Pete Townshend was one of the greatest in all of those categories.  When he stated publicly "I know how it feels to be a woman because I am a woman..."  many of his fans felt as "smashed" as one of his guitars at a Who concert.  But however that statement made YOU feel, his legacy can't be denied.  He surely would have stirred up less controversy had he just simply stuck with another of his quotes... "Life's a bitch and so am I"...!!  Pete Townshend fans, today I salute you!
