James Rhein of Middletown, New York believes he's a good husband. We know that because he says, "I'm a good husband." But nothing in this story suggests he's a good husband.

James's wife, Diane Andryshak, owns their house. She was away on Monday and when she got home, James had completely bulldozed their entire house, with all of her stuff still inside.

Diane says she has no idea why James randomly decided to tear down their house without telling her after nine years of marriage. "We weren't fighting, we weren't arguing."

They were in the middle of renovating and James told the cops the house was too far gone so they had to start from scratch. He didn't want to wait for a demolition company or a permit, so he rented his own bulldozer and took care of business.

James also says that he's talked with Diane and she's not mad at him about it anymore and that everything he destroyed is replaceable. "I'm a good husband. What can I tell you?"

Rhein was charged with criminal mischief and released on $300 bail.
