Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe, has passed away at the age of 88. The legendary Detroit Red Wings player was second only to Wayne Gretzky in the number of games he played and the goals he scored in the NHL.

Howe Played over 1,700 games and score more that 800 goals in that time. He won four Stanley Cups with the Red Wings, along with six Hart Trophies and sic Art Ross Trophies. There are numerous team records that he still holds.

The Gordie Howe International Bridge will be built between Detroit and Windsor in his honor.

RIP Mr. Hockey.
