Florida Police Searching for Robbery Suspect Who Drew Fake Beard on Their Face

Cops in Florida are looking for a suspect who robbed a gas station near Tampa recently while sporting a fake beard that looks like it was drawn on using a Sharpie.

Whoever it was had a red bandana covering their hair. A security camera got a clear shot of their face where you can see the fake beard. And it doesn't look realistic at all.

The crazy part is that the terrible disguise might have actually worked.

Police initially described the suspect as a heavy-set white male in his 30s or 40s. But when you look at the picture, it looks like it might have been a woman, not a guy at all.

The sheriff's department posted something on Twitter yesterday morning to clarify that it might not be a guy. The original report was based on what witnesses said. So apparently they thought it was a dude.

It's not clear how much money they stole, but another camera got a shot of the truck they drove off in. Hopefully the cops can track them down.
