Drunk Woman Pulls Into the Parking Lot of a Jail Thinking It’s a Bar and Gets Arrested

If you live in a rural area and you're a heavy drinker, you pretty much know where ALL the bars are, right? Well, apparently heavy drinkers aren't always great with details.

On Saturday night, a 39-year-old woman was barhopping in Paw Paw, Michigan, which has a population of about 3,500 people. She decided to hit one more bar with her boyfriend at the end of the night. When they pulled into the parking lot, the boyfriend got out, but she didn't.

While she was arguing with him, they caught the attention of several cops who were nearby, it turned out they weren't at a bar, they were in the parking lot of their local jail. When one of the cops went out to talk to them, he realized the woman was drunk. He gave her a breathalyzer test and she was more than twice the legal limit.

Then once they arrested her, she admitted she thought the jail was a bar. Which she wouldn't have been able to get into anyway, because by the time she parked it was already past 2:00am.
