Doctors Remove Nine Magnets From Girl’s Stomach

2-year-old Ava Kendall is fighting to stay alive after swallowing nine magnetic balls. They resemble "Buckyballs", which Ava's parents did not know were banned along with similar toys.

The magnets had become burrowed into the soft tissue of her intestines and created holes. After four hours of surgery, doctors removed the toys and Ava is expected to make a full recovery.
