Year after year these studies come out and we all read the news stories about security breaches. Yet still people continue to use awful passwords.
SplashData put together a list based on five million leaked passwords to figure out which were the worst ones of 2017. "Hackers are using common terms from pop culture and sports to break into accounts online because they know many people are using those easy-to-remember words," said Morgan Slain, CEO of SplashData.
