Deer hunting season is here but one buck in Wisconsin plans on surviving because he's taken the proper safety measures. He's wearing an orange safety scarf.

Bright orange is commonly worn to alert other hunters not to shoot. Brian Powers found the deer says, "All of a sudden, here comes a deer, and he has an orange scarf on. And he just kept walking, and I said, 'Oh my, he must be somebody's pet or being fed by someone or being taken care of by somebody.'"

Powers didn't even think about shooting the deer and advised the friendly buck to keep the scarf on. "I don't know how anyone could have possibly shot that deer," he said.
