Couple Demanded More Expensive Wedding Gift From Guest

This is one of those situations where someone does something so outrageous, you can't even be mad, you're just impressed.

A woman in England just posted a story on Mumsnet about the insane email she got after a wedding. She says she went to an ex-coworker's wedding where the couple asked for checks, not gifts. That's kind of tacky, but it gets way tackier.

She gave them a check for 100 British pounds, which is about $144. Well, last week she got an email from the couple that said, "We were surprised that your contribution didn't seem to match the warmth of your good wishes on our big day. In view of your own position, if you wanted to send any adjustment it would be thankfully received."

It's safe to say the woman is not planning on sending more money. Most of the people on the website are saying she should adjust what she gave them, by canceling the check.
