Cedar Rapids Man Busted With a Meth Lab in His Pants
Are those dangerous, illegal chemicals in your pants? Or are you just happy to see me?
The cops in Cedar Rapids, Iowa got a call on Monday night about a suspicious person walking around. When they got to the area, they saw 46-year-old Genio Ruiz, he matched the description, so they stopped him.
He smelled like weird chemicals, and the cops found some weed on him, so they arrested him. As they were handcuffing him and patting him down, they found something crazy tucked in the waistband of his pants, a portable meth lab.
He had a 20-ounce soda bottle in his pants, with some meth ingredients like lithium battery strips inside. The container is what is known as a “one pot” style meth lab. Police also found 16.5 grams of marijuana on Ruiz.
He was charged with manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance.
