Calling All “Seasoned” Rockers !

Last night, with a few friends and a few beers, I was embroiled in a deep conversation about Quad City live music venues and it made me want to play "ask the audience" about one of them in particular... The Col Ballroom.

I personally have had some of my most awesome concert experiences at the Col.  I can't quite put my finger on it.  Was it the acoustics, the design, the sound engineers ..?  All of the above no doubt.  But there seemed to me to be some "magic" in the room at those Col Ballroom shows.  So I would LOVE to hear from you folks that have been around long enough to remember shows you saw there in the 70's and 80's.  I wanna know if and when you experienced the "magic" too.  Hope you'll take the time, and thanks!
