Bride Hitchhikes to Wedding After Limo Gets Flat Tire

When bride Angelique Arsenault's limo got a flat tire, she was stranded seven miles away from the venue and needed to get to her ceremony.

“It didn’t even seem real at the time, but it happened,” Angelique says about the flat tire. Luckily there was champagne on hand to lighten the mood, “We just laughed about it."

Several cars drove past the scene, most of them just took pictures and left. Eventually one of them actually asked if the bride and her party needed a ride. The driver, known only as Jay, had a car full of kids but was going to help.

Jay dropped the kids off and promptly returned to escort Angelique to her wedding. The bride and her wedding party ended up being thirty minutes late to the ceremony.

“It pretty much made the whole day,” Angelique said. “Everyone was laughing all night about it. It’s going to be a story we’ll remember forever.”
