Sax session great Bobby Keys was a quiet guy, except when he was in the studio. Then, he was unmistakable. Seemingly on every definitive Rolling Stones album, Keys also played on hundreds of other artist's work throughout the path that is rock and roll. He passed away yesterday at the age of 70.

His resume reads like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Stones, Clapton, Ratt, Joe Cocker, B.B. King, Warren Zevon, Barbara Streisand etc.

With the the Stones, Brown Sugar, and Can't You Hear Me Knockin' are perhaps his most recognized work.

R.I.P Bobby.
