In less than ten minutes, Ellen Fleming lost more than a million dollars. Technically she gained the money in the same amount of time.

Ellen checked her bank account at about 1:50 P.M. last Wednesday and noticed the large sum of money that shouldn't have been there.

"I was thinking, ‘Oh, wow, how neat would this be?’" She told The Boston Globe. "I could quit my job, do whatever I wanted to do, pay off my student loans."

Unfortunately for Ellen, the bank realized their mistake and by 2 P.M. her account was back to normal. She received a voicemail from a financial consultant with TD Ameritrade informing her of the deposit which was made in error.
