Due to the Centennial Bridge being closed, some of you may be taking an alternative route to get to and from work. For those of you traveling over the Arsenal Bridge here's some helpful information for you to use while planning your commute.

This is an email we got from an Arsenal Worker:

Here is some information that might help those needing to use the Arsenal
bridge. The Arsenal allows workers to start anytime between 6 - 8:30 AM each
day. The majority of the workforce start at either 6 AM or 7 AM. Therefore
traffic is heavier 5:45 - 6:10 and 6:45 - 7:10 with remaining workforce in
between 7:30 - 8:30 AM.

In the afternoon Arsenal traffic gets the right away, therefore anyone the
Island does not have to stop when entering the Arsenal bridge. But anyone
trying to travel from RI to Davenport have to wait for a break in Arsenal
traffic.

If I leave right at 2:30 traffic is much heavier, but if I leave 5 minutes
early at 2:25 I can leave the Island with ease. Arsenal traffic is heavier
at 2:30 - 2:45 and 3:30 - 3:45 each day, when the majority of island
employees leave each day. If commuters can adjust their schedule to avoid
these times they might have a shorter wait time.
