My Passion for Fishing

The woman behind the Walleye!!

Beginning at age six in Charlevoix, Michigan my passion began for fishing with my Grandfather. Heading out on his 26’ Sea Ray for perch or Salmon was a favorite past time of his. From the time I put my first crawler on the hook until the first perch was landed my heart was racing with excitement.
I still have the same feeling of excitement with each fish that I catch today!
As many years have passed since that first catch I have grown to love the sport even more.
I spent 12 years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan developing walleye skills on the St. Mary’s River. After competing in grass roots tournaments for many years I decided to take it to the next level. During late summer of 2008 I began reaching out to find the right Professional Tournament Circuit for me.
Professional Tournament angling along with promoting and marketing within the fishing industry is where I found my strengths.
From 2009 thru 2012 I competed in every AIM Pro Walleye Series Tournament.
I have also fished the MWC and FLW circuits and for the 2013, 2014 and currently fish the National Walleye Circuit.
Over the last decade I have spent my free time volunteering for many charitable organizations such as The Make A Wish Foundation, Fishing Has No Boundaries, Walleyes for Tomorrow, and the NPAA Youth Clinics.
My journey in the public eye of the Outdoor Industry has given me a chance to make thousands of positive impressions.
The future of angling lies in our hands. I plan to continue marketing and promoting for those companies I have formed a strong relationship with and look forward to new partnerships.
