Woman Finds 2.65 Carat Diamond At An Arkansas State Park
25-year-old Victoria Brodski was celebrating her birthday with a trip to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Her decision was made when she heard that 7.44 carat diamond was found in the park a couple months ago.
Almost as soon as Victoria walked into the park, she found what she thought was a piece of glass. But after checking out the park's Diamond Discovery Center, she realized it was actually a diamond.
“I was looking at pictures of diamonds on display and noticed their similarity to what I had found,” said Brodski. Her 2.65 carat diamond is the second largest found this year.
Victoria plans on selling the gemstone and splitting the cash with her family.
