A woman flying out of Newark, New Jersey recently tried to bring an emotional support peacock on the plane with her, but United Airlines said no.

The woman and her bird were stopped even though she had purchased a ticket specifically for the peacock. A spokesperson for the airline said, "This animal did not meet guidelines for a number of reasons, including its weight and size. We explained this to the customers on three separate occasions before they arrived at the airport."
