Woman Arrested After Shoplifting at Walmart, Carrying Drugs

Police were called to the Walmart in Boardman, Ohio after an employee saw a woman steal a bag on her way out of the store. The responding officers found 27-year-old Alyssa Zebrasky with the merchandise and searched her purse.

They found a hypodermic needle, two baggies with a "whitish rock like substance," and a container with an orange pill in it. Zebrasky told the cops that the substance was methamphetamine and the pill was Suboxone, a prescription to treat opioid addiction.

The shoplifter was charged with theft and may be charged with possessing drug abuse instruments and possession of drugs.
