Why Thanksgiving Eve is the Biggest Night to Tie One On

Black Friday is often referred to as the biggest shopping day of the year and Thanksgiving Eve was thought as the biggest travel day of the year. Both of those are untrue.

What is true, however, is that the night before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest drinking nights of the year.

The reasons behind this increase in alcohol flow are pretty obvious. Most people have Thanksgiving off work, this lack of responsibility allows holiday drinkers to stay out later and drink more. Thanksgiving dinner makes for the best hangover cure as well.

Another huge plus is that everybody goes back home for the holidays. College students return to reconnect with old friends and the chance to hook up with an ex-girlfriend increases exponentially.
