This guy!

I mentioned on the show that my bedroom had been cold. Really cold. I couldn't understand why especially since last year we had replaced all the windows in our house. I checked the attic to see if a duct came disconnected...everything looked good. Was a window unlatched? Nope...all checked out fine. Then, it hit me: I suppose (as a last resort) I could check the furnace filter.

Now, before I go any further, let me state that it's completely ridiculous that a furnace filter doesn't last more than 5 or 6 years, right?  Change the filter? How can this POSSIBLY be my responsibility?
*sigh*
For starters, it's almost like the furnace manufacturer knows the kind of dude douche I am because they clearly don't want me "tinkering" around trying to find nonsense like: make & model or size for a replacement filter. This delicate operation requires a qualified CONTRACTOR:

So anyway, violating the order posted above, I went ahead and changed the damn thing. Here's what it looked like:

This is the new one and frankly, to my eye, they look almost identical:

Then guess what happens? By some coincidence fate comes into play and as if by magic, the bedroom was warmer last night.

So there. Everybody happy?
