Usually when Alex Tanney is back in the Quad Cities we'll make him do something dumb for our amusement. This time we decided to help out and do a promotional video for his new venture.

A couple times a year, Alex will host the Tanney Passing Academy to help out kids who want to work at being a better quarterback. So we thought, "Why not offer the training to players who are a little younger?"

Thus the Toddler QB Camp was created. Check out the hilarious and informative promo video:

The real thing that Alex is back in town to promote is Tackle MS with Alex Tanney, a serious of benefit events to raise funds for support and awareness to multiple sclerosis. A youth football camp, golf outing, and special dinner are happening in Monmouth, Illinois on July 13-14.

The football camp is for grades 1 to 8 and registration is $20 per kid. Make sure to register online as soon as possible. Participants will spend Friday, July 13th going through football drills and playing games with current/former NFL and college players.

The golf outing is on Saturday, July 14th out at Gibson Woods Golf Course. Foursomes cost $240 with lunch provided and many prizes to be won. That evening at Monmouth College Scots Dining Hall is the benefit dinner and silent auction. The $40 entry fee, along with all other money raised, goes towards the Terry Wahls MD Research Fund.
