Virginia Woman Walks Into Steakhouse, Gets Bit By Copperhead Snake

Rachel Myrick of Spotsylvania County, Virginia is recovering after walking into a LongHorn Steakhouse and getting bit by a copperhead snake.

She had just stepped into the restaurant with her boyfriend and son when she was bit multiple times on her foot by an 8-inch snake. At first she thought it was a bee.

“They say that your life can change in a moment… and they’re absolutely correct,” she said. Rachel was rushed to the hospital, swelling from the bites spread past her knee and up to her hip.

She's currently facing three months of recovery.
