A manager at the Walmart in Short Pump, Virginia had to ask two men to leave the store after shoppers began complaining about the dead deer they rolled into the store.

Witnesses say that the deer was hit by a car in front of a nearby Walgreens. The men cleaned the deer off the road and used a shopping cart to move it into Walmart. It was a cold night so they were waiting on a friend to come pick them and the venison up.

Walmart spokesperson Charles Crowson said in a statement: "We can assure customers that the deer carcass never got into the store. It remained in the vestibule, far from any produce or sensitive areas, and the gentlemen were promptly asked to leave immediately."
