There's a cat in Ames that will be able to live out its remaining eight lives thanks to some brave firefighters that rescued it from a house fire.

Using a special pet revival mask, members of the Ames Fire Department were able to save Cleo the house cat. Cleo was found in the basement of a home that was on fire and she wasn't breathing.

Rescuers spent over 30 minutes to revive her and she was taken to Iowa State University’s Veterinary Medicine facility for followup treatment.
