Veterans’ Job Fair, Tuesday, August 16th!

Now here this!  If you are a Veteran looking for work, then your place of duty is the Iowa Works' Job Fair this coming Tuesday, August 16th, taking place at the Iowa Army National Guard Armory located at 3615 N. Brady Street, Davenport.  The event is from 11:00 to 3:00.

From 11:00 to 1:00, there will be a resume workshop.  ff you have a resume in electric form, please bring it on a flash drive.  If not, do not worry, you will be able to leave the job fair with one in electronic form.  If you would prefer paper/hard copies that is possible as well.

From 1:00 to 3:00, there will be a job fair with dozens of potential employers present.  In addition, we have learned that there will be three employers conducting ON THE SPOT interviews!  Therefore, we highly recommend everyone attending dress for success and act AS IF you are going to walk out with an interview, if not an offer!
