Normally nothing good comes from day drinking, but I feel like there's an opportunity to do something positive here.

The Vancouver Police Department is looking for volunteers to day drink on the government's dime, and help train new recruits to do sobriety tests.

Volunteers will have to start off with a few shots of hard liquor and will have to conduct various sobriety tests. Apparently beer and wine are out. Tests include a simple eye examination, walk-and-turn test, and one-leg stand test.

Tests will last a few hours and then volunteers get free pizza and a ride home.
