The reason thieves target things like diamonds is because it's easy to steal things that are small and valuable. Or, you know, you could do the exact opposite like these women.

28-year-old Tena Allen and 26-year-old Tawonda Parrish were busted last week for stealing $800 worth of flip-flops from Old Navy in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Old Navy's flip-flops cost $2.50 for the basic ones and up to $12 for the fanciest ones. That means these women stole somewhere between 66 and 320 pairs of sandals to get to that $800 mark.

They managed to get the entire load into a car, but obviously the employees saw them shoplifting all that inventory and called the cops. They were arrested for felony theft. Tena is also looking at charges for driving with a revoked license and two probation violations.
