A certain turkey popular in the midwest is in dangerously low supply for this Thanksgiving season.

The "Chive" turkey is in such short supply this year, many stores don't have any in stock.  Raised on a diet of 30% soybean meal, and sprinkled with chives prior to processing--these tasty birds have all but vanished this year from holiday tables.

Substitute recipes have popped up on social media for those who can't find, but would still like to prepare "Chive" turkeys for this holiday season.
