Throwback Thursday: Motor Vehicle Division

One of my favorite parts of being in radio has always been the cool cars that the radio stations have always had. From Winnebagos and vans to classic cars and "Rolling Studios" these vehicles were always the sign that something cool was going on wherever they were. When I had the chance, I tried to carry on that tradition by picking up unique cars to use for the show. Two of my favorites are included here. The Yellow '58 was the original "Fordzilla" and started the whole thing. Once I sold that beast, I put together the 48 Panel truck. There have been others. Dork-a-saurus, the whale of bread truck that seemed to have a life of it's own, and Truck Norris, our most recent venture that had a previous life as an ambulance.

I'm always on the lookout for the next cool "Show Car" and have my eyes out for an old Hearse or 70's style cab-over van. Let me know if you see anything!
