Three Out of Five People Claim to Have Seen a Ghost

A new survey reveals that a majority of the people you run into on a daily basis claim that they've seen a ghost. No word if those sightings spike in October.

A whopping 60% of the people survey say they're seen an apparition before and then 40% believe their pets have seen one too. Women are 20% more likely to say they're seen a ghost. However, men are twice as likely to run away screaming if they saw one.

Interestingly enough, ghosts did not make the list of the Top Ten Fears. Here's what's really scaring us out there:

1. Snakes.
2. Spiders.
3. Sharks.
4. Drowning.
5. Heights.
6. Public speaking.
7. Failure.
8. Bees.
9. Tight spaces.
10. Rejection.
