People go vegetarian for a lot of reasons. Now there's finally one that's not annoying.

A new study by the Miriam Hospital in Rhode Island found the average person would save $750 a year by becoming vegetarian. You'd also eat 25 more servings of vegetables and eight more servings of fruit a week. But whatever, that money!

So if you have a family of four and switch everyone off meat, you could save $3,000.
