The Original Sleeping Beauty Won’t Sign Autographs by Mail Anymore
Mary Costa did the voice of Princess Aurora in the 1959 Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty," she just turned 86 yesterday. Believe it or not, she still gets a ton of requests for autographs through the mail.
She posted an open letter yesterday to announce that she just can't do it anymore. Mary said, "Continuing to attempt to answer the volume of autograph requests I regularly receive has become more than any one Princess can possibly handle." She will continue to sign autographs in person, though.
