Back in 2008, Ringo Starr made a public announcement stating that he would no longer be signing autographs. He just has too much to do.

Last week, Justin Bieber pulled the same stunt. In a post on Instagram he said that he was done taking photos with fans on the street.

That got us talking about Ringo again and we thought, why not try to get his signature? Klinger wrote a letter to Mr. Starr, and included a photo with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Dear Mr Starr,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I was curious if you would be able to sign this picture for me. I’m a huge fan and it would totally make my day.

I heard that you won’t sign anything after tomorrow so I wanted to be sure to get this out to you. You know how the mail is.
